The Hotel and Guest House
The Beit Shmuel hotel has 11 boutique rooms, all located on one level with a private lobby, allowing groups of families or friends to reserve the entire floor (for birthdays or other events).
Most of the rooms have a private balcony facing the majestic views of the Old City walls.
Each Guest House room can accommodate up to six guests making this one of the best deals in town.
Sacred and secular join together at Beit Shmuel – just like they do in the city of Jerusalem.
We take pride in offering a homey and friendly atmosphere combined with the personal attention and care extended by our staff. Guests can take advantage of the serene patio, nestled among a beautiful garden of flowers, trees, and flowing waters, designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie who designed Mercaz Shimshon (the expansion of Beit Shmuel), the prestigious Mamilla Mall, and Yad Vashem among his many projects. A small coffee shop completes the scene, enabling guests to enjoy their snacks amid this veritable Garden of Eden.
Within walking distance to the Old City and Kotel, many enjoy celebrating family reunions, Bar/Bat Mitzvah events and other events at Beit Shmuel.
All rooms are fully air conditioned and equipped with a phone, LCD TV with a selection of satellite channels, and free WiFi throughout the complex.
Our reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day and offers luggage storage and concierge services. We can also arrange (at additional charge) transfers to and from the airport, babysitters, laundry services, events and meeting rooms, and office services (fax, photocopying).
The Hotel and The Guest house are located just a short walk away from the Mamilla Mall and Jerusalem’s Old City – a shoppers paradise which combines the colorful Old City markets and the prestigious Mamilla stores.
The hotel’s location in the city center provides guests with easy access to the interesting and historic sites in the Old and New City, as well as ample opportunities to sample the local cuisine and lively night life.
Guests can easily get to The David Citadel Museum, The Israel Museum, Mishkenot Shananim, Jerusalem Cinemateque, historic King David street with its famous hotels and architecture, the German Colony with its trendy boutiques and restaurants, and much more.
